Left All Alone

When you think of someone being left behind, what do you think of? I think of a little girl alone in her room on a Friday night. I think of a boy just trying to fit in and being ditched by the people that acted as his friends. When you think of depression what do you think of? Do you think of that girl that everyone is afraid of because of the black clothes she wears? I think of the girl that everyone thinks is so put together but in truth is about to kill herself. She acts normal around everyone, but when she gets into the comfort of her own room, nothing stops her from making the little cuts on her rosy skin. Every night she prays for somebody to come and care for her but nobody ever does. Those who know, do nothing to stop her and nothing to find out why. At one point, she was cared for. She had everything. Now, she only appears to have everything. Nobody knows a thing about what goes on in her life and if she can help it, nobody ever will.
